Homegrown Excellence: We nurture our herd of 50+ alpacas, known as Alpacas of East Anglia, to breed the very best quality fleece. These magnificent, gentle & curious creatures provide the alpaca fibre that forms the very heart of our products.
Craftsmanship: From breeding, growing, shearing & processing, we are involved in every step, every day. We, alongside our skilled team, process & create these exquisite yarns & goods onsite in our Mill & they are on display in our shop. We are privileged to be Europe’s only dedicated alpaca processing mill, established in 2010 & serving clients worldwide with numerous awards to our name for business, innovation & products.
British Pride: Our yarn products are 100% British alpaca, 100% Norfolk (unless otherwise stated) & lovingly crafted in our picturesque corner of East Anglia, close toThe Broads & the Sunshine Coast.
Alpaca Magic: Alpaca fibre is a truly remarkable medium. It’s hypoallergenic, dust mite resistant & feels incredibly soft against the skin. Plus, it’s eco-friendly & sustainable. While alpaca is second only to vicuna in quality, it is less rare, making it more affordable. Its appeal lies in its longevity rather than being a high-fashion item, placing sustainability at its core.
Provenance Matters: Each yarn & every product we offer has a back story & our yarns are named after the alpaca(s) who have contributed to their fleeces to the resulting product. We have had our fleeces scientifically analysed to ensure top-quality yarns. No part of the fleece goes to waste – even the lower grades find a purpose.
